Job summary

NYU Langone Health invites you to join our Ambulatory Access Operations team as a Senior Ambulatory Training Specialist. You will lead on-site, classroom, and virtual trainings, and develop robust materials to support practice management and staff across the FGP network.

You will collaborate with FGP leaders to identify training needs, design scalable learning experiences, and monitor KPIs including CARES and patient access initiatives, ensuring alignment across sites and roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 5-7 years experience in healthcare.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide, direct, train and interact with staff and outside contacts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel, strong conceptual and analytical abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in common software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site, classroom, and virtual trainings for the FGP.
• Develop and refresh robust training materials for practice staff.
• Collaborate with FGP teams to identify training needs.
• Monitor trends and improvements; align with KPIs and CARES.
• Coordinate with Epic team on front-end workflows.
• Manage training projects from scoping to execution.
• Oversee FGP orientation programs for new staff and leaders.
