Job summary

USPI Bucks County Surgical Suites is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech to assist in the operating room. The role requires maintaining a sterile field, preparing instruments and supplies, and supporting quality improvement initiatives within a busy ambulatory setting.

The ideal candidate has a CST certification, completion of a surgical technician program, and at least one year of experience across specialties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Surgical Technician Program completion required.
• CST certification required.
• One year of experience as a Surgical Tech in multiple specialties or equivalent.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication to collaborate with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains sterile field throughout operations.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Maintains sterile field during operative cases.
• Supports quality improvement activities within the surgical team.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and coordinates with physicians.
