Job summary

HSHS Medical Group in Illinois is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center in O'Fallon. This part-time, day-shift position offers 20 hours per week and focuses on outpatient surgical care.

The successful candidate will document patient histories, assist physicians, administer medications, and support care planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. RN licensure in the state is required, with a BSN preferred and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required; multi-state license recognized per Nurse Licensure Compact where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an outpatient setting.
• Record patient histories, perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and develop patient care plans with other medical professionals.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures and operate/monitor medical equipment as necessary.
