Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Ambulatory Surgery Services in a full-time, days shift at Lourdes Health System location in Camden, NJ. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care in a busy ambulatory setting.

Required NJ RN license, Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and 0-1 years of experience (2-4 preferred).

Qualifications

• RN License in New Jersey is required or must obtain licensure to practice
• 0-1 years’ experience required, 2-4 preferred
• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop, implement and evaluate a plan of care.
• Administer, monitor and document nursing interventions.
• Provide patient and family education regarding disease, care needs and safety.
• Collaborate with care team and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Participate in orientation and performance improvement activities.
