Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care delivery. The RN holds responsibility and accountability for delegating patient care to the health care team.

This on-site opening supports the Lourdes Health System facility at 1600 Haddon Ave, with a 1st shift schedule. The role requires 0-1 years of experience (2-4 preferred), an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), and NJ RN Licensure.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years' experience required, 2-4 preferred
• Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• NJ RN License required per policy in Nursing Administrative Manual

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participates in clinical decision-making.
• Educates patient and family/responsible party regarding disease process, individual care needs, wellness, safety issues, etc.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Participates in orientation, education and development of healthcare team.
• Identifies and participates in the performance improvement activities.
• Maintains professional and departmental level competencies.
