Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse licensure.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience.
• Clinical certification or nurse leader certification.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and leadership skills.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA).
• Ability to manage staffing, scheduling and payroll tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and management for designated shifts in ambulatory care.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure quality patient care and safety.
• Develop partnerships across disciplines to achieve shared goals.
• Support staff development, onboarding, orientation and evaluation.
• Monitor attendance and ensure appropriate staffing mix for patient outcomes.
• Assist with interviews and credentialing of new staff.
