This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.

We are seeking experienced Per Diem PRN OR/PACU RN to join our new Ambulatory Surgery Center in Denver, CO. The schedule is 2 Weekend shifts (Sat and Sun) per month, hours: 6am-2:30pm with some holiday rotations.

Pay: $40-$42 per hour

How You'll Contribute:

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the OR/PACU RN is responsible for:

• Utilizing advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate patient care plans.
• Performing initial preoperative assessment, developing a plan of care, and explaining the subsequent phases of surgery.
• Providing comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members.
• Demonstrating proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administering medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.

What You'll Bring:

The skills and education we need are:

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2-3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
