Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care before, during, and after vascular procedures. You will support physicians, monitor patients, and ensure accurate charting and data entry while maintaining sterile technique and safety.

The role emphasizes administering medications, IV sedation as ordered, and active participation in CQI and regulatory compliance to achieve optimal patient outcomes within a high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.)
• Current appropriate state licensure and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care pre, during and post procedure under supervision.
• Administer medications and IV moderate sedation per physician orders.
• Monitor patient condition before, during and after procedures; address concerns and communicate with facility management as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation from admission to discharge; ensure lab orders and results are processed correctly.
• Support CQI activities and comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements while ensuring patient safety.
