Job summary

AA Urology is seeking an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to assess patient problems, develop and implement care plans, and maintain medical records in the outpatient clinic setting. The role requires 1-2 years of clinical experience (urology preferred), RN license, BLS, strong communication, and ability to work with a healthcare team.

This on-site position emphasizes compassionate patient care and adherence to HIPAA.

Qualifications

• RN license required by state.
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient problems in the office and on the phone to determine disposition.
• Facilitates patient care and documents communications into EMR.
• Communicates treatment plans including lab/imaging results to patients and documents in EMR.
• Coordinates with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepares rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and maintains stock.
• Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Instructs individuals, families, or groups on health education and disease prevention.
• Prepares and administers medications per provider order.
• Adheres to HIPAA and Solaris Health policies; maintains confidentiality.
• Performs other position related duties as assigned.
