Qualifications

  • Must have at least two years of ambulatory experience and PACU experience.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a current NC RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with turnover and support day-to-day ASC operations.

We are currently searching for an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location.

40 hours a week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Ambulatory experience is preferred. PACU experience is required.

The ASC Registered Nurse (RN) will exemplify our organization’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Service, and Community. Demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. This individual will also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

Essential Functions:

  1. The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.
  2. Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
  3. The RN has technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. The RN is expected to work in a primary nursing area for the center.

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams.
  2. The ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College, or University.
  2. Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
  3. At least two years’ experience in either ambulatory experience required. PACU experience required.
  4. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Or Experience plus certification:

40 hours a week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Operating room (OR) experience required. PACU experience is preferred but not required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
