Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners seeks a Director of Operations for Banner Surgery Center – Camelback in Phoenix. You will lead the ambulatory site’s operations, capital planning and strategic development, while upholding standards and supporting physician partnerships.

You will drive growth, ensure financial stewardship, oversee compliance and patient care quality, and mentor staff to sustain excellent service and community trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health services administration, nursing or a related field.
• Five to seven years of healthcare management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees site operations to ensure quality, timely and cost-efficient services.
• Leads provider relations and collaborates with physicians to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
• Provides leadership for compliance, privacy and adherence to governing regulations.
• Hires, mentors, and evaluates staff to promote engagement and performance.
• Leads physician recruitment and growth strategies to strengthen the center's market position.
• Manages site budgeting and financial performance in line with corporate goals.
• Drives process improvements to enhance patient care and throughput.
• Ensures policy compliance and maintains strong relationships with physician partnership.
• Maintains alignment with Atlas policies and accrediting standards.
