Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic's Strongsville Family Health and Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated RN to provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, assess health status, and develop care plans.

Primary shift is Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm with rotating evenings and weekends. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold current RN licensure and BLS, and have at least one year of RN experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of recent RN experience.
• Ambulatory care experience or related clinical exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures and patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.
