Job summary

MedCadre seeks a Registered Nurse Ambulatory (RN) to provide nursing care in outpatient settings. You will perform patient assessments, assist with procedures, administer medications, and support continuity of care while ensuring patient safety and quality service.

You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, monitor vital signs, educate patients, and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current and active RN license in the applicable state.
• BLS certification required.
• Ambulatory, outpatient, or clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health conditions, symptoms, and medical histories.
• Monitor vital signs and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist healthcare providers with outpatient procedures and clinical care.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up services as needed.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report concerns to providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection-control, patient safety, and clinical standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
