Job summary

Community Health Network in Indianapolis Northside is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse to join the Breast Care team. The role includes phone triage, patient education, scheduling, and care coordination, with on-site patient rooming and results communication.

The RN must be licensed in Indiana with at least 1 year of nursing experience; ambulatory and surgical care exposure is preferred. Strong teamwork and compassionate, self-directed care are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN/CCNE/ACEN accredited nursing program or have 3+ years of nursing experience.
• Current RN license to practice in Indiana (NLC).
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Ambulatory office setting experience preferred; surgical care experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Phone triage for Ambulatory Breast Care patients.
• Patient education and counseling.
• Prescription refills and scheduling coordination.
• Calling patients with results and follow-up.
• Care coordination and rooming patients.
• Other related tasks as needed.
