Job summary

Community Health Network on the Center for Advanced Heart Care team within Community Heart and Vascular Hospital seeks an Ambulatory Registered Nurse to support physician practice duties, including phone triage, appointment scheduling, nurse protocols, patient education, prescription refills, and FMLA/STD paperwork.

Qualifications

• NLN/ACEN/CCNE accredited nursing program or 3 years related nursing experience.
• RN license to practice in Indiana per NLC.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in cardiology.
• Previous medical office/outpatient experience and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Phone triage.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Following nurse protocols.
• Providing patient education.
• Prescription refill processing.
• Completing FMLA/STD paperwork.
• Other related tasks as needed.
