As an RN, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care in an ambulatory setting, interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors.

You will provide nursing care, perform assessments and triage, administer medications, initiate CPR, and support educational needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• ACLS Certification within six months of hire (if performing moderate sedation or cardiac stress testing).
• One year of recent RN/LPN or related experience in ambulatory care if transferring within Cleveland Clinic.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures and patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.
