Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an RN Educator to design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based educational programs, orientations, and continuing education to support staff growth and patient care quality.

The role emphasizes strong instructional design, expert clinical knowledge, and the ability to engage healthcare professionals across the organization to improve safety, quality, and service delivery.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Washington (WA) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher with related clinical experience.
• Experience designing and delivering educational programs.
• Ability to evaluate education effectiveness and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing assessment/analyses to identify education/training needs to ensure compliance with regulatory, risk and patient safety requirements.
• Collaborates with VMFH personnel to transfer classroom knowledge to workplace behaviors and verify training/skills.
• Plans, delivers, and evaluates regulatory and educational programs such as new hire orientation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains timely documentation of scheduling, attendance and evaluations; ensures resources for effective training execution.
• Serves as expert trainer for new employees and provides training to other trainers on current VMFH software applications.
