The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, KS is seeking an Ambulatory RN Care Coordinator for the Spine Center. This part-time PRN role provides nursing care, patient education, and coordination of services during clinic sessions to support physicians and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include triage, care coordination, and documentation in the EMR, with a focus on patient safety, advocacy, and continuity of care after visits.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (multistate) in the state of residence.
• BSN required and 2+ years RN experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage patient flow, triage, and direct patient care.
• Coordinate communications between front desk, nursing staff, physicians, and clinic manager.
• Support care planning and patient education to optimize outcomes.
• Document assessments, plans, and progress in EMR.
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and safety.
