Job summary

Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse to join the Ambulatory Resource Team. The RN will triage calls, educate patients, schedule appointments, handle medication refills, and coordinate referrals across primary and specialty care.

You will float to physician offices in three regions: north side of Indianapolis, Anderson, and Kokomo, supporting care delivery during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• NLN/CCNE/ACEN or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program or 3+ years nursing experience.
• Licensed RN in Indiana with NLC.
• 2+ years nursing experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings.
• Outpatient/medical office experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, compassion, and self-direction.

Responsibilities

• Triages calls and provides patient education.
• Schedules appointments, handles referrals and medication refills.
• Coordinates care across teams and providers.
• Rooming patients and supporting workflow.
• Floats to primary and specialty care offices across three regions (N Indianapolis, Anderson, Kokomo).
