Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• One year of recent RN experience
• OR existing Cleveland Clinic caregiver transitioning into RN role in ambulatory setting

Aufgaben

• Assess health status by completing a nursing assessment.
• Perform telephone triage.
• Notify physicians/LIPs of abnormal findings.
• Establish a care plan in collaboration with patient, family and health care team.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and monitor response.
• Participate in quality initiatives and process improvements to enhance outcomes, experience and safety.
• Maintain professional growth and annual core competencies.
