Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technologist - Ambulatory for the Papillion Health Center. This role performs diagnostic X-rays in the clinic and supports patient care under licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, injections, administering medications, labs, and coordinating referrals. JRCERT-accredited program, ARRT certification, Nebraska license, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology is required.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Current ARRT certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification in all practice areas within one year of hire.
• Currently licensed in the state of Nebraska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the AHA.
• If required to administer medications, Medication Aid Registry listing or completed within first 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients in clinic and preparing them for imaging procedures.
• Performing radiographic imaging (X-rays) and related tasks in ambulatory clinic.
• Assisting with injections, medications and lab draws as needed.
• Coordinating referral appointments and communicating with providers and staff.
• Other clinical tasks as assigned.
