Job summary

46000 SCL Health Medical Group - Billings LLC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time outpatient clinic duties in Billings, MT. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under physician supervision, with emphasis on ambulatory care and adherence to protocols.

Requirements include active RN license in Montana, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of clinic or acute care experience; BSN preferred. Schedule: 30 hours weekly; benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS certification is required.
• One year of related clinic or acute hospital nursing experience is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Obtain and document health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and risk factors; assess disease condition.
• Provide patient care based on guidelines, standards of care, and laws and regulations.
• Execute prescribed treatments, administer medications, and monitor patient response; consult physicians as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Document patient assessment and interventions using medical records systems.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Track quality assurance data and monitor care management.
• Regular attendance on site during scheduled hours is required.
• Communicate effectively with staff and patients to ensure quality care.
• Maintain professionalism and a strong work ethic.
• Be prepared to act appropriately in emergencies.
