Job summary

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) in Arlington, VA invites a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care team. This full-time role offers day shifts, 40 hours per week, and competitive benefits within a Johns Hopkins network.

You will be the first clinical contact, triaging urgent calls, and educating patients to improve outcomes. We seek a licensed RN (VA/DC) with CPR and 1 year of experience; ED or Med-Surg background is a plus.

Qualifications

• ADN is required for this RN position.
• BSN is preferred but not mandatory.
• Virginia RN license and DC RN license are required.
• CPR certification is required.
• 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience in ED or Med-Surg is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage and guidance for urgent symptom calls and Patient Portal messages.
• Educate patients on acute and chronic conditions and disease management.
• Coordinate care with providers and quality teams; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support daily practice operations and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Mentor team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
