Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) at the Olean VA Medical Center, NY. The LPN will work under RN/MD supervision within the outpatient setting, providing direct patient care and support in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting care, and contributing to patient education while ensuring safety and adherence to VA policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the State agency and/or NLNAC at program completion.
• Full-active-current unrestricted licensure as an LPN/LVN in the United States or DC.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients under RN/MD supervision.
• Administers medications and documents in the electronic health record.
• Performs routine nursing tasks and assists in patient education.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to clinical policies.
