Job summary

BJC HealthCare in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic settings. You will collaborate with PCPs and care teams to develop and implement care plans, focusing on high-quality, cost-effective care.

The ambulatory RN will guide clinical staff, support daily patient management, and educate patients. This is a safety-sensitive position; adherence to SOPs and compliance standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States
• BLS certification required
• Ambulatory care experience preferred
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (RN)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PCPs and Specialists to develop and implement care plans.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs using clinical nursing skills.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and documentation guidelines.
• Educate patients using verbal and written instructions; assess comprehension.
• Support providers in charting and treatment protocols per compliance standards.
