Job summary

Care New England is seeking a Lead Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician in Warwick, RI to train and supervise technicians, coordinate training, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. The role also supports pharmacists in daily operations and provides guidance on URAC/ACHC compliance.

The ideal candidate has RI registration as a pharmacy technician and CPhT certification, with 1+ year (preferring 5+) of experience in a pharmacy setting, and a willingness to cover in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Registered Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician required; CPhT certification preferred.
• Experience in training staff and coordinating training programs welcomed.
• Knowledge of URAC/ACHC compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead ambulatory technician training for new employees and students.
• Coordinate training schedules and ensure competencies are completed.
• Support pharmacists and technicians in daily duties and coverage needs.
• Perform prescription entry, calculations and accuracy checks.
• Maintain inventory, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
