Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years ambulatory pharmacy experience.
- Pharmacy technician certification with a national certifying body (PTCB or equivalent) required.
- PA Registered Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license required.
- State certification acceptable if core competencies meet national requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create patient profiles in the pharmacy information system.
- Enter prescription plan information for processing and adjudication.
- Enter new patient prescription information.
- Address insurance, reimbursement, and payment issues with insurers, patients, and staff.
- Support achieving business goals and metrics for ambulatory pharmacy.
