Job summary

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced OR, preparing equipment and supplies, assisting surgeons, and ensuring aseptic technique across multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Surgical technologist certification or completion of an accredited program.
• Certification within 18 months if not currently certified.
• Military or prior hospital training in surgical technology accepted with competency validated.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of patient care with the surgical team.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique in varying procedures.
• Handle and transport medications and solutions per policy.
• Assist with counts and maintain patient safety during cases.
• Support OR environment, equipment readiness, and staff orientation.
