Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a registered nurse for ambulatory care in Providence, RI. Under supervision, you will provide nursing care, implement the nursing process, and collaborate with physicians and the health team to coordinate the plan of care.

You will delegate and supervise care, educate patients and families, participate in quality assurance, and engage in ongoing professional development to support excellence in patient care within a comprehensive academic health system.

Qualifications

• RN Licensure in Rhode Island or via Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with Physicians and health team to manage the prescribed plan of care.
• Delegate, supervise and coordinate nursing care activities.
• Provide patient and family teaching related to health problems, promotion and rehabilitation.
• Participate in quality assurance, clinical and operational research activities.
