Job summary

The PCT will assist with measurements, screenings, specimen collection, and bedside activities while maintaining patient comfort and safety. A GED/HS diploma and six months clinic experience are preferred, with BLS required within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of six months' experience preferred; clinic setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred; maintains required competencies/certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within 60 days of employment.
• If ND and not CNA, must be registered as Nursing Assistant with ND DOH within four months.

Responsibilities

• Height, weight, blood pressure, vision screening, drug screens, and point-of-care urinalysis.
• Prepare patient treatment areas and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste as per policy.
• Monitor stock levels of medical inventory and restock or reorder as needed; support patient registries.
