Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery Center PACU RN to provide professional nursing care in an outpatient setting at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Illinois.

The role supports patient histories, diagnostics, medications, and care planning in collaboration with physicians, with responsibilities in examinations and procedures using medical equipment. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting.
• Record patient histories and perform various diagnostic tests.
• Administer medications and develop patient care plans with other medical professionals.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.
