Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our PACU Outpatient Surgery team. The Ambulatory RN will provide professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting, document histories, perform diagnostic tests, and support physicians during examinations and procedures.

The role requires RN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. This part-time position at the Ambulatory Surgery Center in St.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in outpatient setting.
• Record patient histories and perform diagnostic tests.
• Administer medications and develop patient care plans with the medical team.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
