UCI Health in Orange County seeks an Orthopedic Medical Assistant/Tech to assist physicians and nurses in the care of orthopedic outpatients. You will perform clerical duties in a busy clinical office and support the treatment workflow.

Ideal candidates have a Medical Assistant Diploma, strong English communication, and BLS. Experience with immobilization or casting is a plus; flexibility and adaptiveness are valued in our dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• Understanding of medical terminology.
• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate of Competency / Recognition in Medical Assisting Clinical / Back Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Incumbent assists physicians and nurses in the medical care and treatment of orthopedic outpatients.
• Performs clerical functions associated with the operations of a clinical office as necessary.
