Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• RN license valid in the state of Arizona.
• BSN preferred; one year of surgical/ASC/ PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct patient care in an Operating Room.
• Uphold techniques per accepted standards of practice.
• Comply with HIPAA and patient rights.
• Perform duties within the scope of license.
• Supervise room personnel and assist as needed.
• Report unusual occurrences to charge personnel and document care.
• Coordinate and maintain continuity of patient care.
• Assess, prioritize, plan and implement care efficiently.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in continuing education and meetings.
• Follow physician orders and management directions.
• Contribute to a healthy work environment.
• Assist in training new staff.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure care quality.
