Job summary

The RN Circulator assists in nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting, following physician orders and center policies. During operations, the circulator acts as an intermediary between the operating room staff and the rest of the surgical center.

Responsibilities include scrub and circulating functions, monitoring patient condition, assisting with hemostasis and wound exposure, and preparing rooms and instruments for use.

Qualifications

• RN license in state is required.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub functions including instrument and supply handling.
• Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition.
• Assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and patient positioning.
• Prepares operating rooms and instruments for use.
