Prosperity Placement Solutions is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a premier ambulatory surgery center in Bradenton, Florida. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule, no nights, no weekends, and a strong work-life balance in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting.

The OR RN will provide perioperative care, circulate procedures, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PACU staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI).
• ACLS Certification (required for cardiac-related departments).
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical procedures in a busy ambulatory surgery center.
• Perform comprehensive preoperative patient assessments.
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery.
• Participate in patient recovery and postoperative care as needed.
