Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the Medical Oncology Outpatient Clinic at Stephenson Cancer Center in Tulsa. The role may be filled as Ambulatory RN Level 1 or 2 depending on experience.

Key duties include assisting physicians, administering medications, monitoring patients, and coordinating care in an ambulatory setting. The RN will document responses, maintain standards, and participate in ongoing professional development to meet OU Health's values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Experience in ambulatory or oncology care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an ambulatory clinic setting.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
• Administer medications and IV infusions per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy following OU Health policies.
• Collaborate with clinic team to coordinate referrals and follow-ups.
• Ensure accurate charting and documentation in EHR.
