Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks an Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacist to support outpatient oncology infusion at Kershaw Hospital and MUSC Karesh House clinics. You will ensure timely dispensing, provide drug information, and counsel clinicians and patients.

The role includes preparing sterile products per USP 797/800 and collaborating with the infusion team. License as SC Pharmacist is required or within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required.
• Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Current BLS certification or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide distributive and clinical pharmacy services to outpatients.
• Counsel patients and healthcare professionals on drug information.
• Dispense medications timely and accurately for ambulatory infusion.
• Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous sterile products per USP 797/800.
• Support remote verification of infusion orders as needed.
