Job summary

Prime Occupational Medicine is seeking an Occupational Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care for workers, including physicals, treatment, and health program development across PRIME locations. You will document and report observations, order supporting labs and imaging, and collaborate with supervising physicians to ensure safe return-to-work decisions.

Qualifications

Active Advanced Practice Nurse license in Texas is required.
Strong knowledge of occupational medicine preferred.
Ability to prioritize and act quickly in patient care.
Excellent communication and ethics in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Provide treatment and physicals for sick or injured workers.
Document observations and treatments.
Take histories and perform examinations relevant to patient presentation.
Order and interpret labs (CBCs, chemistries, urinalyses) and imaging as needed.
Establish diagnoses and develop plans of care; refer for follow-up when indicated.
Deliver patient education and discharge instructions; ensure proper documentation.
Work under supervision of an approved SP, on-site or via telecommunication.
