Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing; enrolled in master's program within 36 months.
• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible/compact state.
• AHA BLS certification or equivalent.
• Two years of staff development or healthcare education experience.
• Preference for NPD certification or specialty area; BLS Instructor (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consult on guideline development and practice standards.
• Conduct systematic Learning Needs Assessments across ambulatory clinics.
• Develop competency-based pathways for clinical support roles.
• Serve as ambulatory clinical subject matter expert to reduce practice variation.
• Translate quality and safety data into targeted learning interventions; track trends.
• Oversee multiple ambulatory clinics and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate on standing orders, clinical protocols, and practice guidelines.
• Educate and disseminate standards for evidence-based care across sites.
• Maintain documentation to promote clinical excellence and licensure scope.
• Support onboarding documentation and staff competency tracking.
• Assist enterprise-wide committees to align education and practice.
• Promote continuous learning through advancement programs and certifications.
