Children’s National Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager who reports to a nurse executive and oversees defined areas of organized nursing services with 24/7 responsibility for the assigned areas. The role includes planning, staffing, budgeting, regulatory readiness, supervision, and collaboration across health care disciplines to support high-quality pediatric care.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of leadership experience, active RN licensure in the District of Columbia, BLS, and strong

Qualifications

• 5 years of nursing leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of JCAHO and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Registered Nurse licensure in DC and BLS certification.
