Qualifications

• RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in health care, preferably in an outpatient setting, with supervisory experience.
• Current license or valid permit to practice professional nursing in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Defines clinical personnel requirements and coordinates staffing.
• Monitors staffing levels and adjusts to meet care and financial objectives.
• Interviews, hires and orients clinical personnel; evaluates performance.
• Ensures nursing care complies with policies and Texas standards.
• Coordinates clinic nursing functions and patient flow with clinic management.
• Represents the practice in hospital-wide programs; participates in orientation.
• Develops budgets with Clinic Manager; oversees supplies and equipment.
• Maintains a continuous presence, identifies improvements, facilitates patient flow.
• Leads cross-functional teams to enhance an integrated system of care.
• Communicates effectively with staff and patients; addresses operational issues.
