Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse Manager to provide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership for its multi-site Electrophysiology (EP) ambulatory nursing network. The EP nursing team delivers care across multiple ambulatory locations and specialized programs, including clinic nursing, nurse navigation, and subspecialty workflows for increasingly complex patient populations. The Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations, cross-site coordination, staffing, onboarding, education, clinical standardization, physician collaboration, and the execution of growth initiatives. This leader will promote operational consistency, align nursing practice, develop team members, support continued EP program growth, and collaborate with Medical Center departments and service lines to ensure comprehensive, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities also include contributing to overall practice management and the education and professional development of nurses, unlicensed assistive personnel, and other clinic staff as appropriate to the care setting. Strong leadership experience is preferred. Successful candidates will have a cardiac background and experience maintaining established programs.
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, one of which must be in Nursing. Five years' nursing experience preferred. Two years of acute care experience preferred within the last ten years. Ambulatory experience preferred. Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of applicable state required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) may be required within one year in select clinical areas. Certification in specialty area preferred.
