Job summary

Main Line Health's Lankenau Heart Group in Paoli, PA is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse to support telephone triage, clinical assessment, and patient education in a busy cardiology setting.

The RN will travel to Newtown Square for coverage as needed and collaborate with cardiologists, APNs, MAs, and staff to coordinate care and follow-up. A PA RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Provider BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and clinical assessment, guiding patient care and escalation when needed.
• Support anticoagulation management and follow-up related to testing and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with cardiologists, medical assistants, and office staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and testing processes.

Registered Nurse RN – Ambulatory, Lankenau Heart Group

Shift

Full-time, Days (Monday through Friday onsite) 8AM to 4:30PM Experience: Preferred:

• Experience in ambulatory cardiology, clinical nursing, specialty practice, or physician office setting.
• Strong telephone triage skills, including the ability to assess patient symptoms, provide appropriate guidance, and elevate concerns as needed.
• Experience with Warfarin or anticoagulation management, medication refills, patient education, and follow-up related to cardiac testing, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Knowledge of insurance information, prior authorization workflows, and coordination of care within an outpatient setting preferred.

Education

Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program.

Licensures/Certifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Provider BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
