Job summary

Join Lankenau Heart Group at Main Line Health, Inc. as an Ambulatory Registered Nurse in Paoli, PA. This full-time, daytime role focuses on triage, clinical assessment, medication management, and patient education within a cardiology practice.

You will work closely with cardiologists, APPs, medical assistants, and staff to coordinate care, provide follow-up, and support anticoagulation management. Travel to Newtown Square is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Provider BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience in ambulatory cardiology or physician office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage, clinical assessment, and education.
• Support medication management and follow-up care.
• Assist with anticoagulation support and cardiac testing follow-ups.

The RN will travel to Newtown Square for coverage as needed.

You will assist with care coordination, symptom calls, medication refills, anticoagulation support, test follow-up, and patient education related to cardiac conditions and treatment plans.

Position:

Registered Nurse RN – Ambulatory, Lankenau Heart Group

Shift:

Full-time, Days (Monday through Friday onsite) 8AM to 4:30PM

Experience: Preferred:

• 1. Experience in ambulatory cardiology, clinical nursing, specialty practice, or physician office setting.
• 2. Strong telephone triage skills, including the ability to assess patient symptoms, provide appropriate guidance, and escalates concerns as needed.
• 3. Experience with Warfarin or anticoagulation management, medication refills, patient education, and follow-up related to cardiac testing, procedures, and treatment plans.
• 4. Knowledge of insurance information, prior authorization workflows, and coordination of care within an outpatient setting preferred.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program.

Licensures/Certifications:

• 1. Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• 2. Provider BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
