Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse for the South Campus in the Cornerstone Community Based Primary Care department. This part-time, 24-hour-per-week role focuses on treatments, medication administration, and family education to improve health outcomes.

The Ambulatory Nurse is a nursing staff position, which reports to the Clinic Supervisor. Performs treatments, administers medications, assists procedures performed without anesthesia while utilizing aseptic technique, assists with employee education and orientation and provides patient/family education with the goal of improving health outcomes. Involves family/significant others in planning health care and health decisions. Delegates and evaluates health care to assistive personnel following the hospital plan for nursing. Recognizes and advocates for each patient being individual with health care needs. Provides considerate, respectful care affirming the patient’s right to make decisions regarding their medical care.

Hours: M-F day shift 8 hour shift ( days will vary )
Commitment to obtain Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire.
Graduation from an accredited program of nursing.
Registered Nursing license in State of Ohio.
