Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an RN to join the Gonda Building – Ambulatory Neurosurgery. The role focuses on coordinating care, patient education, and post-op teaching for adult patients with occasional pediatric coverage.

You will work within Mayo Clinic’s Nursing Professional Practice Model, demonstrating leadership, collaboration, and excellent communication to ensure safe, high-quality care throughout the patient’s perioperative journey.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate nursing care across direct patient care, education and transitions of care.
• Engage in pre- and post-op teaching for surgical patients and families.
• Provide telehealth follow-up and telephone triage as part of care delivery.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective communication; participate in quality improvement and committees if applicable.
