Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced RN for the Ambulatory Neurosurgery unit in Minnesota. You will coordinate nursing care, perform pre/post-operative teaching, and handle telephone triage/telehealth follow-up for adult patients, with some pediatric coverage. This role emphasizes leadership, patient education, and cross-team collaboration.

Current RN license, BLS, and state requirements apply. TN sponsorship is available; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• All entry-level RN start dates after Apr 1, 2020 must have BSN within five years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, direct patient care and family education.
• Provide pre- and post-op teaching and transitions of care.
• Perform telephone triage and telehealth follow-up.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery team to support adult patients (PEDs coverage).
