Job summary

Advocate Health's Ambulatory and Outpatient RN position in Downers Grove, IL, seeks a patient-centered professional to deliver care in ambulatory settings. You will work within the Nursing Professional Governance community, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the practicing state, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 8-5pm M-F; No holidays.
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
