Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care across the continuum. The RN will operate within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and lead care activities and quality improvement efforts within a collaborative team.

The role requires a BSN or higher, RN licensure, and strong communication skills. Ambulatory in-person duties and neurology exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program per ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• If not ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA, at least one year RN experience or one year LPN at Mayo Clinic.
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with RN start date after Apr 1, 2020 must obtain BSN within five years.
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with RN start date before Apr 1, 2020 must provide BSN documentation.
• 3 years of RN experience required.
• Neurology experience preferred.
• Ambulatory in-person role.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations.
• Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and critical thinking.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• BLS must be valid for 90 days post start date.
